One of the most interesting phenomena of our world is that every type of lifestyle has its own major challenges. We live in an affluent society largely free from challenges that many living outside of Australia face, such as poverty, starvation, epidemics of disease and war. However, affluence brings with it its own, different, challenges. From a medical perspective, affluent societies are afflicted with a different set of diseases than those plaguing the poorer societies.
If you search “learning strategies”, you will find an endless list of names that teachers and educators all around the world have come up with- but overlooks one essential key. A developed educational system is not what makes human beings learn. A school, a class, a teacher, and a book do not create the aptitude to think and rationalize. If they did, why couldn’t all the educational techniques teach feral children how to talk and walk like normal human beings??
